Inner Mongolia Tour Packages
Here are some suggested tours to show you what we can do. But we
work best if we craft what you want. You can only do a two or
three night tour to the grasslands if you want with horse riding,
but you should fly as the train will take too long. A 2 or 3 night tour
to the grasslands near UlanHot staying only in a Mongolian tent and
hiking, riding horses, soaking up the local culture is great. Extremely
and highly recommenended but remember there is no shower, running
water, and only a clean outhouse with a Western toilet. The Mongolian
tent is very clean, spacious, dry, and very nice.
The distances are huge. You simply cannot go to many cities in only
a few days.
Please remember these are only suggested
tours. We are based in UlanHot but have many contacts in HaiLar too. We
have been to all of these areas many times. We work best when you tell
us what you want to do and see. If you
are not sure, this is a guide. Leave everything to us, but give us some
guidelines. Just a guide. Nothing is set in stone. Thwere are no
"stones" here, as things change at a moments notice. We will craft
anything you want. Hotels?
Mongoluian tents? Grasslands? Cities? Horses? Snow sports?
Campfires?Cooking? History? Nature? Hot showers? No showers? Long
distance driving? No driving? Prices? Number of days? Number of people?
Train? Plane?
Plane tickets are fairly easy to get.
Book at least one week ahead. Two weeks ahead is better. Have return
booked too. There are many sites on the INTERNET where you can book and
pay for airline tickets.Train tickets of many kinds are almost
impossible to get even 10 days ahead. You should plan on a plane and
book it yourself (Not me) and have the tickets before you come, and if
we can help with train tickets , fine, but do
not count on it. We can try to save you money by getting train tickets.
The plane takes 2 to 3 hours from Beijing and the train about 20
hours. China does not allow train ticketrs to be bought more than 10
days ahead, and they are often sold out then. We can try then to get
you train tickets, and if not you should get airplane tickets.
Sometimes train tickets "APPEAR" but it is risky, uncertain, and may
strand you. You don't want to be stranded in the North. Trains usually
leave on time, and arrive on time plus/minus an hour or two.
