Ganhe

This is a very small town mid way between ALiHe and GenHe where we have friends. Here you can stop, if you want, to look around, have a break, or have a drink of water or juice. Even something to eat if you want. This is a town that has its economy based only on logging of the incredible forest. You are surrounded by forest. Here you are in the outskirts of China. Whereas most companies in larger cities in China are privatized, here the town is totally dependant on the government which has a government owned company for logging. There is no farming. Don't mix up GenHe with Ganhe. There are lots of blueberries in August and September. Of course there are many nuts from the forest in that same season. I can't name them all, but Hazelnuts and Pine nuts come to mind. GenHe has a lot. You are in the North country. Updated 6/27/2008
