EErguna,Inner Mongolia
Eerguna is about 2 hours from Hailar by car. It is smaller than Hailar, and a nice city. Yes, there are two e's.There is a good selection of hotels and restaurants.
The population of Eerguna is much smaller than Hailar.
Eerguna is similar to GenHe, but larger. However, do not expect to get anything good here. They have a lot, but the quality will be better in Hailar and much better in Beijing. This is a Northern town. Blueberries abound in August and September.
There is excellent Russian bread here. Also cream. Lot of vegetables. The road North is good.
It is a city to explore and linger, not an actual destination. There is not much to see here in terms of actual tourist sites.
