How to meet the local guide

The guide will be holding a sign with your name on it if you have never met her before. Otherwise she will meet you where you stay. If you come as a group, it is usually the name of the person who contacted us and organized the tour. We will be waiting for you in the airport, bus station, or train station, where ever you want us to meet you. Make sure you have our phone numbers. Make sure we agree on the name to be on the sign.

Nara may be wearing typical Mongolian clothes. You cannot miss her even if she has on "regular" clothes. Just look for a real smile.

The Beijing airport is super modern with everything you would expect in such an airport.

The above refers to Capital Airport Terminal 3, where "most" (but not all) international flights land.

Some planes land at Terminal 2, about a 15 minute shuttle bus ride away.

Terminal 1/2 is for domestic flights.

NanYuan airport is for domestic flights.

Moral: Beijing has two airports and four terminals total. Make sure you know and tell us what airline you are flying, which terminal you will be landing at, your flight number, and have our phone numbers.

Although "most" international flights leave and arrive at terninal 3 Capital Airport, not all do. I once got burned flying internationally when I went to the wrong terminal. Check and double check. Most domestic flights leave at terminal 2 or NanYuan Airport. Check carefully.
